30 June 2022: the original Sugar Rush
Pragmatic Play announced Sugar Rush on 30 June 2022. The release introduced a 7×7 grid, cluster pays, tumbling symbols and multiplier spots. The provider’s announcement described winning groups of five or more matching symbols connected horizontally or vertically and spots that could increase to 128× through subsequent wins in the same location.
The current product page continues to describe gummy bears, jellybeans, clusters, multipliers and scatter-triggered free spins. This establishes the original mechanics at a provider level. It does not confirm that a Ghana operator listed the game on launch day or continues to offer it now.
Sugar Rush Xmas adds a seasonal edition
Pragmatic Play later released Sugar Rush Xmas, a winter-themed version using a similar 7×7 grid, cluster and tumble format. The provider’s release material describes frosted sweets and multipliers that persist during free spins. The edition has its own title and rules, even when the core interaction looks familiar.
A seasonal artwork change does not prove every numerical rule is identical. Check the Xmas Information page for RTP, max win, bet limits and bonus behavior rather than assuming the original’s values apply.
March 2024: Sugar Rush 1000
Pragmatic Play announced Sugar Rush 1000 on 18 March 2024 as a sequel to the candy-filled original. Its release notes describe the same broad 7×7 cluster/tumble format with multiplier spots up to 1,024× and a maximum-win potential up to 25,000×. Those headline figures are specific to the sequel.
The title “1000” is therefore material. If a game tile is truncated, open the full listing and Help screen to confirm which game is active. Do not use the 1,024× spot or 25,000× max-win claims to describe the original.
January 2026: Sugar Rush Super Scatter
Pragmatic Play announced Sugar Rush Super Scatter on 15 January 2026 as a later series addition. Its current product page describes Super Scatter symbols, multiplier spots up to 1,024×, free-spin features and a potential max win up to 50,000× when the specified feature condition is met.
This title is not merely a rules update to the original. Super Scatter symbols and their payout conditions belong to a distinct game. Use its own paytable and Help panel if comparing it; do not combine its maximum with the original review.
Why provider history matters for reviews
Affiliate pages sometimes merge several series titles into one description, especially when they share a candy palette or 7×7 grid. That can create false comparisons about the spot limit, max win, RTP or free-spin feature. A reliable review names the exact product, links to the provider page and dates the information it checked.
This site focuses on original Sugar Rush. It discusses sequels only to distinguish their published features. The affiliate links were not used to verify which title is available to any individual account in Ghana.
Update policy
We record the review date and use provider announcements for release history and the current game page for its present public description. Archived rules copies are labelled as version-specific. If the in-game Help for a current operator configuration differs, that panel and the operator terms should be reviewed directly.
A source change does not retroactively change what a dated announcement said. Readers should consult current official material before making a decision. This page is informational and does not promise a particular release, catalogue position or account feature.
Ghana operator checks: a licence entry is not a game listing
The Gaming Commission of Ghana publishes a licensed-operators register with trade names, operation types and licence dates. When checked on 29 October 2026, the public register included 1XBET, BETIKA, BETWAY and SPORTYBET in betting and/or online-casino categories for the 2026 period. Register entries and categories can change, so use the Commission’s current page when checking an operator.
A register row does not say whether Sugar Rush appears in a brand’s live game catalogue, is enabled for a particular customer, or works on a particular device. The tracked destinations on this site were supplied by the publisher. We did not create accounts, inspect logged-in catalogues, deposit, test withdrawals or contact operator support. Check the legal entity in the operator’s terms, the relevant Commission entry, the exact game title and current account eligibility separately.
Version and source notes
Pragmatic Play’s current Sugar Rush page describes the original game’s 7×7 tumbling grid, clusters of 5–15+ matching symbols, multiplier spots up to 128×, and a free-spins feature triggered by 3–7 scatters. Its June 2022 launch announcement describes the original game and its cluster mechanic. Sugar Rush 1000 and Sugar Rush Super Scatter are separate products with different multiplier and maximum-win values.
The public product page does not show every configuration detail. Copies of game rules hosted by operators or other third parties can document a particular build, but they do not prove which RTP, bet range or feature setting is active at a Ghana operator today. Read the Help or Information panel in the exact game instance. Where values come from dated or hosted rules, this guide labels them as version-specific rather than universal.
Risk and responsible-play note
Sugar Rush is a chance-based slot. A cluster, tumble, scatter or multiplier describes how the game can settle; none is a method for predicting a future spin. Set an affordable money limit and a session time before opening a gambling site. Treat the whole stake as money that can be lost. Keep essential bills, borrowed funds and emergency savings out of gambling.
The Gaming Commission of Ghana recommends knowing how games work, setting budget and time limits, taking breaks and not depending on “good luck” strategies. Stop if play is no longer enjoyable or feels difficult to control. This guide is not medical, legal or financial advice; if gambling is causing harm, pause and talk with someone you trust or a qualified local support service.
