Identify the exact title first

Open the operator’s catalogue and confirm that the game name is Sugar Rush and the provider shown is Pragmatic Play. Several games share the words “Sugar Rush” and use candy artwork. When a spin resolves, the game scans the grid for connected matching clusters. A winning cluster is credited according to its symbol and size. The winning symbols disappear, other symbols fall into the cleared positions, and new symbols enter from above. If another qualifying cluster appears after that drop, it can pay within the same spin. The chain continues until the board produces no further win.

During the cascade, winning positions can be marked. When a later winning symbol lands on a marked position during the same spin, a multiplier is added to that spot. In the original, the spot value starts at 2× and can double on subsequent hits up to 128×. The base-game markings do not carry into the next ordinary spin; they reset when the tumble sequence ends.

Read scatters and free spins

Scatter symbols trigger the bonus when the required number lands. Pragmatic Play lists awards of 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 free spins for 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters respectively. These are separate from ordinary cluster wins. The feature can also be retriggered by scatters during free spins in versions whose published rules include retriggers; verify the active panel rather than assuming a particular build.

During free spins, marked spots and their multipliers remain in place for the feature round, so later tumbles and spins can reuse those locations. That persistence is a key difference from the base-game chain, where markings end with the spin. It does not mean every spin becomes a win: a retained multiplier still needs a winning combination to land across the marked cell.

Check the final result and understand the numbers

Once the spin or free-spin feature ends, review the total win shown in the game and the operator balance. The result history can help identify the round if a question arises. Note the time, stake, game title and round reference. If the game’s Help shows a maximum payout, keep that separate from the 128× spot ceiling. The cell multiplier affects a combination; it does not mean every spin pays 128 times the stake.

For a simple hypothetical calculation, if a qualifying cluster has a value of 2 stake units and a 2× multiplier spot applies, the multiplied amount follows the rules for that version. Do not apply a generic formula to a screenshot without checking symbol values, contribution of multiple spots and the game’s cap. Practise controls without treating demo results as forecasts
